Ingredients 4 large, crisp apples
6 tablespoons light brown sugar
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup bourbon
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
Instructions Peel, core, and cut apples into bite sized chunks; place in a large 10-inch skillet. Add brown sugar, lemon juice, and bourbon. Cover and simmer until apples are tender, stirring occasionally and basting with liquid. Serve warm over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
